A little about myself. My name is Kelley Rose McNeilly and we’re located in Central Oklahoma. I’m a Nationally Certified Master and award winning Groomer, also a certified Dog trainer with over 20yrs experience in both. I’ve been showing dogs in conformation for over 11yrs now.
EnRose Kennels has been a lifelong dream of mine. I got my first poodle when I was 2yrs old. A sweet miniature that I named Efie. She was my constant companion until she passed away. My second dog was my heart dog, a toy poodle named Prissy. She went with me everywhere and I trained her dozens of tricks, when I was just 10yrs old. She was so smart and cemented a lifelong love for the breed. She inspired me to learn more about the breed I loved so much, including reading about their history, genetics, health and gave me the desire to someday show a poodle.
My entire family was a poodle family. My Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and uncles all had poodles. They ranged in all colors and sizes. I got to truly immerse myself in the breed in life and by education.
After many years of searching pedigrees, following different breeders and their programs I finally got my first standard poodle to show.
My history with Australian shepherds is slightly different. It was a breed I’ve loved since seeing them on a televised dog show as a kid. My family was a poodle family so I wouldn’t get my first Aussie until I was an adult. After a year of searching for the right dog, who I wanted for a service dog, I found the perfect boy. He is everything I ever wanted in an Australian Shepherd. We have competed in many venues together including conformation and obedience.
Our Breeding Program
With our breeding program we hope to not only preserve these beloved breeds but to improve on each generation. In our breeding dogs we look for good structure, health and temperament. We seek to prove our dogs with adding titles to their names.
We strive to give puppies the best start in life with quality nutrition, ENS, ESI, and Puppy culture. Puppies will begin crate training and potty training before leaving our home. They will be socialized to many types of animals, people, sounds and experiences. They will be groomed several times. They will also practice stacking and accepting body handling, not only for possible future show careers but this is beneficial for vet exams and other situations.
All puppies that are not approved for show homes will be sold on a spay/neuter contract and limited registration. We ask that you fill out our Puppy Questionnaire if you are interested in our puppies.
